While the reason for the suspension is not known yet, she had made comments on Tuesday on the alleged violence in West Bengal after Mamata Banerjee-led All India Trinamool Congress won the assembly election earlier this week.

In the tweet, the actor was urging Prime Minister Narendra Modi to show his “Virat Roop” from “early 2000s” to “tame” Mamata Banerjee in Bengal.
This is not the first time Twitter has suspended Ranaut’s account. In January, Ranaut’s account was
put under ‘read-only’ mode by the US-based tech company for two tweets that allegedly incited violence.
“We’ve been clear that we will take strong enforcement action on behavior that has the potential to lead to offline harm. The referenced account has been permanently suspended for repeated violations of Twitter Rules specifically our Hateful Conduct policy and Abusive Behaviour policy,” a Twitter spokesperson said in a statement. “We enforce the Twitter Rules judiciously and impartially for everyone on our service.”
