This is Samsung’s plan to make its top-selling smartphone series more appealing


South Korean tech giant Samsung has various smartphone series that are priced differently. For instance, its flagship smartphones are part of the Galaxy Note series or Galaxy S-series, the most affordable handsets fall in the Galaxy M-series. Out of all the series, it is Galaxy A-series that has been producing handsets that have become the top-selling Android handsets in the world including Galaxy A51 and most recently Galaxy A10.
Now, it appears that Samsung is on its way to make Galaxy A-series smartphones more appealing to the buyers by introducing higher refresh rates in the upcoming handsets.
As per a report by Sammobile that cites unnamed sources, the Galaxy A52 and the Galaxy A72 will both feature a 90Hz display, which will be a first for any Samsung Galaxy smartphones as the flagship handsets come with a 120Hz refresh rate. Further, the company is also likely to add support for 120Hz refresh rate to the display of the 5G version of the Galaxy A52, adds the report.
As per rumours, the Galaxy A52 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 750G SoC. Storage-wise, it is expected to come in 128GB and 256GB models and when it comes to RAM, it is also expected to offer 6GB and 8GB models. The handset is rumoured to offer a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Infinity-O Super AMOLED display and for imaging duties, house a 64MP main rear camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, a 5MP depth camera, a 5MP macro camera, a 32MP front-facing camera.
